Handcrafted, rooted in intention.

Bound Beauties are living plant artifacts designed to mark moments where care and attention matter.

Each plant is shaped by hand using the kokedama method—returned to the root, rebuilt with a stable soil foundation, and bound with moss to protect and support growth over time.

These are not decorative accents or mass-produced gifts. They are meant to live with someone, becoming part of a space and a story.

When people choose Bound Beauties

Bound Beauty plants are often given to:

  • Thank clients or collaborators
  • Mark leadership or team milestones
  • Welcome someone into a new home or workspace
  • Celebrate personal transitions or moments of growth
  • Offer a housewarming gift that feels thoughtful and unexpected

Each plant carries intention—without needing explanation.

Available plants

Our current collection includes a rotating selection of handcrafted kokedama plants, each one made individually and available in limited quantities.

Because every plant is shaped by hand, no two are ever exactly alike.

Custom orders

Custom Orders are most often requested when:

  • A particular type of plant is desired
  • A quantity of unique gifts is needed for clients or employees
  • Plants are being prepared for a specific moment, space, or timeline

Each custom plant is created using the same hands-on process as our standard collection—returned to the root, rebuilt with care, and bound to support healthy growth.

Caring for your Bound Beauty

Caring for a kokedama isn’t about doing it perfectly.
It’s about noticing, responding, and supporting healthy growth over time.

Water

When the moss feels dry or the ball feels light, soak in room-temperature water until saturated. Gently squeeze out excess water before returning to display.

Light

Most kokedama prefer bright, indirect light. Avoid prolonged direct sun unless otherwise noted.

Growth

With care, your plant can thrive for years. Refresh the moss or replant when it outgrows its sphere.

Attention

Yellowing, drooping, or dryness aren’t mistakes—they’re signals. Notice what’s changing and adjust.

A living extension of the work

Many Bound Beauty plants begin their life in a Lab or Gathering, then continue on into homes and workplaces.

They serve as quiet reminders of care, attention, and the responsibility that comes with growth.

“Beautiful, thoughtful and unlike anything else in my home.”
